I've promised to some people that if they like my last geometric compositions, that I would give them the wp version of it. I had this one ready for some time now, so here goes...

This wp and the composition i made before (Less) are a tribute to a genius, a man that changed the course of architecture and made a purity of shape and negitive space its first and most important feature: L. Mies van der Rohe.
His famous quote "Less is more" was always a big inspiration and a challenge to me.

great, very mies-ish actually, looks like an exercice i once did in my school.

beautiful choice of color and of course nice modern composition.

Excellent, it really captures his "less is more" mood.

It really *is* difficult to achieve this "less is more" vibe, huh? either in wallpapers, clothing, decoration, music.. .it's much much tougher than ppl can imagine.

Great job. I'll grayscale / resize it to fit my desktop.

Keep it up, yer work is amazing!

I like this because you're not just throwing a few squares on a page and say, "Oh well less is more." There's actually some things going on here that you don't see at first, which is probably closer to what that quote actually means, right? :D (Big Grin)

Beautiful dedication and simplistic is definently a way to go, and to have someone to insipre and admire like that is great especially when they give you reasoning to challend yourself. Nice work again :) (Smile)
